No one likes to admit that soon it will be below zero degrees at night. However, that night is approaching faster than we want it to. Although we cannot do much about the weather change other than continuing to kill the ozone layer, we can change how we feel about the winter season.

Make sure you add these things to add to your winter bucket list:

1. Watch "25 Days of Christmas" in its entirety.

Every year you have a friend who says they will watch every single movie on "25 Days of Christmas," and every year I am sure you do not succeed. Taking a few hours each day to sit on the couch and enjoy some time with your friends is never a bad thing.

2. Go ice skating.

Honestly, the only people who are good at ice skating are the people who do it everyday. So it doesn't matter if you make a fool of yourself, because you won't be the only person.

3. Create some form of dessert.

Some people are not handy with the oven. If you don't trust yourself, there are other options that only include mixing ingredients and refrigeration.

4. Shopping.

It's Christmas season, you need to buy people presents! If you find a thing or two along the way, treat yourself.

5. Listen to Justin Bieber's Christmas Album.

I would love to say that I don't force everyone to listen to it on the long car rides home, but I would be lying.

6. Winter bondfire.

Imagine the instagram possibilities.

7. Sit in an outside hot tub while it is snowing.

The most relaxing thing you'll do all year. You will never be too hot or too cold. Everything will be just perfect.

8. Spiked hot chocolate.

Everyone's favorite things in a single cup. Nothing could go wrong here.

9. Decorate your apartment/dorm.

It is everyone's favorite season of the year. Embrace it. Enjoy it. Savor it.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
