I have a bucket list, as I believe it is important to have goals outlined. If you don’t ever write them down, you might forget. I really want to see the world, do ‘crazy’ things. These are some of the things I will accomplish before I die.
- See Europe (ride the trains, visit concentration camps, go to a vineyard, drink some Irish whiskey, etc).
- Ride an elephant in Thailand.
- Become fluent in Spanish
- Sing on stage in front of a hundred people, solo.
- Go to a Green Day concert; standing only tickets.
- Survive a mosh pit.
- Go skydiving.
- Get up close and personal with sharks in a shark tank.
- Go on safari in Africa.
- Experience the historic monuments, museums, and symbolic locations that our country has.
- Go to a Boston Red Sox Game.
- Own a horse.
- Experience some Lord of the Rings action in New Zealand.
If you don’t experience life, and you work it away, then you are missing out on the most important part of life: living. Seeing new places, trying different foods, meeting new people, experiencing different cultures, that’s what living is about. So, in about 8 months I will have graduated. I will be licensed. I will have a grown up job. However, my plan is to work to live, not live to work. That is ridiculously cliché, but it’s the truth.
