Bryson Tiller is amazing. All of his songs are songs that everyone can vibe with. They all have meaning behind them. Not to mention, Tiller doesn't come out with new songs often, so when he does release a new single or a new album, you can tell he pours his heart into it.

Sorrows

This is on my favorite and most recent album: ANNIVERSARY

I'm obsessed with this song.

"I said I know we ain't on the same page no more

And that's a shame that we ain't, we used to be so close

Yes, I'm down and I'm drownin' in my sorrows, babe (Baby, yeah)Yeah, yeah

You don't miss me, babe

Don't know why you're tryin' to convince me, babe

Know there's been somebody else since me, babe

Think I might do the same, don't tempt me, baby

Hit the party and get friendly

Honestly no, I don't got it in me

It's no fun when you're not here with me

It's no wonder you're not here with me, yeah

Yet you tell me there's no way"

Recently, I just got out of, yet another failed talking stage. I jam out to this song. I love it. This song is about a guy getting into his feels about a girl. She leads him on, they're on this on-again-off-again relationship. They're close and he doesn't want what they have to go away. He'll always be there regardless of the situation.

Somethin Tells Me

This is a great breakup song.

"Lay down baby I'mma take it slow

Can't let this thing go to waste, oh no

Before we crash, hit the brakes, oh no

Call, then I got to your place, oh no

Still getting voicemail, oh no

Fuck it, leave a voicemail, oh no

Hey, looks like we at the end of the roadYeah somethin' tells me

We ain't gon' last baby

We ain't gon' last baby"

So all throughout the song, he says how he knows/has a gut feeling this relationship he is in right now is destined to fail. However, at the very end of the song, he says they can work things out, but only because he doesn't want to lose what they have already.

We Both Know

"I don't expect for you to settle for me

But I hate it when you say to me

You're done playing games with me

Done tryna wait for me, still check for me

You can't get away from me, yeah, yeah

Go tell them you still love me, yeah

Don't know it but you're stuck with me, yeah

By now you know you're stuck with me"

This song is about a couple who fights A LOT. They both act like they want to leave each other, but they know deep down, they are stuck with each other.

Canceled

Another song I'm obsessed with.

"All them n***** thirsty, but you would never hurt me

Not like I hurt you, the shit I do is hurtful

You feel like a damn fool

I wish I had a manual to better understand you ('stand you)

You say I'm a handful, I'm in your head like Cantu

I tell you what I can do

Be a better man to you, this Henny made me ramble

Called and got no answer

Wrote this fuckin' anthem, alert you like it's amber (like amber)

Distress to my damsel

But she say I'm canceled

I just got back in touch with her

Used to talk a lot, used to down to ride

I can't do this hi and bye

Don't see eye to eye but I know that we got time

To fix it, we not blind"

Once again, this song is about an on-again-off-again couple. She finally called it quits and he wasn't expecting it at all. Better yet, he realizes he could've treated her better so he's trying to "win her back", but she doesn't want him.

Blame

This is another one of my favorite Tiller singles. It's a short one, but a good one.

"Say I didn't love you, you know a n***** loved you

Did you forget to mention

All the things I did for you, times I made a trip'

Cause I know you hate the distance

Baby, it's alright, it's alright

Go ahead and take your time

But you gotta make your mind

Make your mind up, ooh

Girl, it's on you to tell me what you wanna do"

This is from a guy's POV when a girl is stuck in a situation between having to choose between 2 guys or just confused on what to do. She doesn't want to make the wrong decision by being with him. He's giving her reassurance, but on his end, it's getting to the point where he feels like he isn't enough.

Things Change

"She like, "How could you leave?"

Let things be done

Find you someone

Miss the way you love me

Don't call me for once

Swear you're no fun

You was loving him too, but you swear you're the one

Girl, you know I can't settle for it

Try to tell myself I don't need that"

This song is from a POV from a situation that doesn't get talked about often but happens constantly. Basically, a girl falls for a guy (Tiller) and he never gave her his full efforts. She fell for him and the feelings weren't mutual. He's on a new girl now. She's driving him crazy by asking him questions about the new girl so he tells her to find someone else, that he knows she was talking to him and another guy at the same time, etc.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

The holiday season is full of stress, debt, and forced conversation. While we rush through the month of December, it's important to take a step back and enjoy the moments before they're gone. I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
