Ladies and Gentlemen, the Hawaii native is back and he is funkier than ever.
After two years of silence, Bruno Mars is finally consuming the radio again with funkier tunes than before. It has been four years since the debut of his world charting album Unorthodox Jukebox. The promise of an album is now in our future -- November 18 to be exact.
With the release of a music video for Mars' single '24k Magic' came the excitement of knowing that Uptown Funk has officially served its purpose and can make way for new music. The artist's eclectic style was accurately reflected throughout the new visual as it displayed Mars' in the night life of Las Vegas full of color and life. The video contained a contagious 70's nostalgia that couldn't help but make you an old soul as Mars' displayed his signature dance moves.
Now that '24k Magic' has become known, Mars' gave his hooligans a sneak peek of another new single off the long awaited album on Saturday Night Live. What better way to release new music than on the New York City show of the weekend? Mars took the stage with a groovy setting as he performed the song 'Chunky' which is basically a checklist of the kind of woman he is looking for -- someone who can "pay their rent on time" and "make their own money". The song contained a fresh beat that held true to what we love the most about Mars' and his style without mimicking Uptown Funk's signature sound.
The uprise craving for new music from this vintage king is now being satisfied by the arrival of a new album that can only take over the world just as his previous projects.
