I grew up a middle child, with a big brother and a little sister. I will save the struggles of being a middle child for a later time because right now I am focused on why having a brother is the biggest blessing.
For those who also have a brother you know that love is portrayed in various ways. It can be a hug, or a punch in the arm. From dunking you in the pool since age four to stealing your ice cream. This is them showing their love in a weird way.
You always have a personal bodyguard. No matter where I am, if my brother is there I know that no one is coming closer then a three feet radius. I knew this when I was in preschool and my brother told me I could not have any boyfriends until I was married. Do you get the irony there?
Brothers don’t hold back. No matter what you are facing in your life, you will get their opinion on that situation whether you asked for it or not. Sugar coating is not something brothers do, and in a sense you learn to appreciate it.
They always make us laugh even on the darkest days. There is a sense of humor that you share with your siblings, one that outsiders just don’t get.
Whether you see it or not, brothers are your biggest supporters. He has watched how far you’ve come and can only imagine what the future hold for you. Nothing holds a candle to having a brother to motivate you to be the best you can be.
You have a great role model if you have a brother. They are hard working and never settle for anything less than what they deserve. You have been shown how to treat people, and when to stay quiet and when to speak your mind. Brothers show their sisters not to settle for any boy but one who shares the good qualities they do, without even meaning to.
If you have a brother he is your biggest blessing because you have a forever friend. Whether it be someone to hangout with, vent to, and even cry to they are there.
I will admit I am a little biased, but I have the best or all brothers, Ethan. He truly is the biggest blessing.
P.s Thanks for letting me drive your truck.
