My purpose was to have a guardian angel.

its been 2 years, almost 3 since you were taken from us . I still call your voicemail just to hear your voice . I look at our pictures often , wishing we had taken more . I can still hear your laugh, sometime I hear your corny jokes . Everything reminds me of you now that you’re gone .

It’s crazy how the person I used to share everything with isn’t here anymore . You were the one I told about my demons, now you’re not here to help me fight them. Losing you has been tremendously hard and painful . And I will never understand why you left so soon, but I do know god gave me you for a reason, my brother, who knew 18 years later you would be my protector ❤️
