There are people who love Broadway and then there are people who LOVE Broadway. If you think wanting to see the same concert more than once is crazier, then you’ll think seeing the same Broadway show more than three times is crazier.
Broadway makes everyone’s thoughts that seem impossible, possible. Everyone’s a big dreamer, even if they don’t know it. We’ve been big dreamers since we wanted to be astronauts in kindergarten. So many of our childhood movies have been turned into Broadway shows such as "The Lion King", "Aladdin", "A Christmas Carol" and "Matilda."
Something about the Broadway stage makes those movies so much more unforgettable. Musicals bring so many great people together and their passions collide. Do you have a fictional life that you would love to see become reality? Broadway has a show and character that portrays it.
Something about the live orchestra that makes the whole world seem like a musical. There’s nothing quite like live music, right?
Once the orchestra starts, you know a breath-taking musical is going to happen right before your eyes in minutes or even seconds. When you see a Broadway musical, something about it changes the way you see things, even the slightest bit. When you connect to the show, you connect with the character and the people in the theatre even if they are total strangers.
If you are a huge Broadway lover such as myself, there is just something about stage dooring that makes this all-day experience even more memorable. You feel an immediate connection with the actors when you get to share a moment with them, get an autograph and maybe even a picture. A lot of them may not be huge celebrities but when you get a moment with a Broadway star, you will never want to stop talking about it.
Broadway lovers are all over the world. If you are in a different country, or in a state hours away from the city, one of the things on your bucket-list is to see a Broadway show in the greatest city in the world because a musical anywhere but NYC may still be magical, but it is not NYC. So come see what all the fuss is about! It’ll be one helluva time.
