In late April, nobody in the New England area knew who Jacoby Brissett was, but after last Sunday’s win against the Dolphins, that all changed. Jacoby, a 23-year-old quarterback, will likely start at quarterback for the New England Patriots, the replacement of Brady’s replacement, Jimmy Garoppolo, who had an outstanding performance against the Dolphins last week before leaving with a shoulder impingement. Still, the Patriots have still not indicated who will start the game, but there is a better than not chance that it will be Jacoby.

Whether or not he is thrown into the fire yet again, Jacoby had a solid outing against the Dolphins, leading the Patriots on two scoring drives to seal the game late in the second half. He also completed six of nine passes for 92 yards during his time on the field even though the Patriots relied heavily on the run game. In spite of his stats from last weekend, Brissett has a long road ahead of him and a tough task this Thursday. It just so happens that the Texans, the Patriots' opponent this Thursday, spent a substantial amount of time looking at Brissett leading up to the Draft. Still, instead of taking Brissett early in third round, the Texans opted for Braxton Miller, a shifty wide receiver from Ohio State.

There may be several reasons why the Texans passed on him in the third round. First off, many scouts from Pro Football Focus have described Brissett as, "wildly inaccurate” in 2015. He is also prone to sacks and he had 22.2 percent sack rate in college, the ninth worst in his draft class. Even though Belichick didn’t ask Brissett to pass very much during the second half he still managed to get sacked twice. Garoppolo, on the other hand, was given a lot praise by college scouts and he has shown his abilities over the past two weeks.

Regardless, Bill Belichick will muster up an intelligent game plan and use Rob Gronkowski and Marty Bennett to his advantage. In case you didn’t know, Gronk and Marty are two of the biggest tight ends in the NFL and they have the speed to outrun any defensive player, including defensive backs. Gronk and Marty will also have to assist Jacoby and provide ample blocking for the rookie quarterback in order for the Patriots to win and move to 3-0. Now to some thoughts from after the game…..

No matter who lines at wide receiver or running back the Patriots, they will always have mastermind Bill Belichick at the helm to lead the way. Also, even though Jacoby may not be as skilled as many other quarterbacks in the NFL, he can still lead a team to victory against a superior opponent. We are officially on to 3-0 and I think that Uncle Rico could play quarterback for this team and win a game. On that note, there is only ten days until the Tom Brady revenge tour begins! Let’s go Pats!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
