A snowman family full of joy
Picks out their Christmas tree.
In the quaint woods they call home
Oh, how they make merry company!
Despite the cold of winter
That makes the air so chilly,
They sing songs of celebration,
Remembering the birth of a baby.
Decorating is tradition,
Daddy snowman holds the base steady.
Mother snowman passes up
The ornaments and red berries.
Eldest daughter twines the lights
Between the limbs, now, not too tightly.
Middle daughter adorns the branches
With the silver and gold balls, all so shiny.
Youngest daughter has the highest honor
Of placing the angel atop the tree.
Finished, they all step back to admire,
Such a picturesque scene.
Daddy snowman gathers his daughters for bed,
Mother snowman kisses them goodnight,
She dearly loves her little ones three.
Look up, mother, to the stars
Bright as can be.
Two shine brighter than the rest,
Do you see?
Beautiful snowflakes the clouds
Found too precious to release.
Know God is holding your snowflakes, mother,
And watching over your snowman family.
