7 Easy Ways to Brighten Up Your College Apartment

As college students, we spend so much time in our apartments. It can almost get depressing when we're constantly doing work in a bland, cheap, boring apartment. Here are a few ways to brighten up your apartment and make your time spent here a little more enjoyable!

1. Buy a few plants to put in your windowsill

2. Hang up pictures of your friends and family from back home

3. Add a bright or fluffy blanket to hang off the end of your bed!

4. Add a few bright throw pillows to your bed/living room too!

5. Get a candle or wall plug-in.

Having your apartment filled with your favorite scent will make you so much happier and relaxed.

6. Essential Oil Diffuser.

This one is pretty self explanatory!

7. Fresh flowers.

This is something I always keep in my room! Similar to the plants, it adds color to the room and puts a smile on my face everything I look at them.

It happens to all of us, the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas the catch up with you.

Thanksgiving Break is most likely everyone’s favorite break during the fall semester. You get to go home and reminisce with all your high school friends. That diet you’ve been on for the past month goes out the window, and you get to eat until you put yourself into a food coma. There’s no rush on homework and you can just lie in bed and Netflix to your heart’s content. To me that sounds like an ideally wonderful break, and totally stress-free.
