Brides Are Carrying Pizza And Doughnut Bouquets Down The Aisle And It's Been The Most Romantic Wedding Season Ever

Wedding season may be coming to close but there's never a bad time for some bridal swooning. Newly engaged brides-to-be everywhere are picking their dresses, shopping for accessories, and scrolling through Pinterest for a little wedding inspo to make their wedding unique. And we know just the thing: Pizza.

That's right pizza.

For all the foodie brides out there, thanks to the pizza chain Villa Italian Kitchen, a bride can now walk down the aisle with a wedding bouquet made of pizza and the groom can wear an edible boutonniere to match.

Both the bouquet and boutonniere are "made with fresh pizza dough, 100 percent whole milk mozzarella, fresh California tomatoes, and pepperoni," reported Delish.

Now, maybe, I'm not the person to be reporting on this since Pizza is a no-go for this tomato hater but with that said I love to be the center of attention as much as the next person, and if that means carrying a pizza bouquet down the aisle, count me in.

Is this the weirdest wedding trend we've seen? It is definitely up there. But this is not the first time we've seen couples swapping rose bouquets for something more gourmet. (Did you catch the rhyme?)

Last year, a bride in Australia held a bouquet of powdered donuts. Here's a picture of the moment bride, Paige Burgess, surprised her bridesmaids with the news they were going to be carrying donuts down the aisle:

Now doughnuts are for sure something I could get on board with. Honestly though, who hasn't thought about the benefits of having a snack walk you down the aisle?

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
