Breastfeeding in public has become an issue in the world today. This article is to discuss whether it should be punishable to breastfeed in public or whether we should let mothers feed their babies in public.

In today's society, we see actors, actresses and celebrities posing nude for a poster or a movie.

In this photo, we see Kim Kardashian and Kanye West posing nude for a magazine. They seem to be very intimate in this photo. Seeing this magazine cover, I would assume that this is NOT appropriate for anyone to see, whether they are six or 60. The website of this photo also contains many more photos that are deemed "okay" in today's society.

Such as:

Today, we see this photo and think this is "alright" . . .

But what about when we see mothers breastfeeding in public?

This is what happens when women try to feed their babies that they birthed! As you can see they are completely covered except the breast that the baby is feeding from. Some see these mothers in public and absolutely hate it. They shame the mothers and make them feel terrible for feeding their child. This is deemed "not okay" in today's society. Why? Well, because they are not like those models or celebrities that pose nude on a daily basis and make money from it.

We should be standing behind the mothers, supporting them, for feeding their children exactly how they want to. We should NOT be shaming mothers for making the decision to breastfeed. There are actual health factors for breastfeeding a baby. Some factors include providing the baby with the vitamins and proteins that they need. The mother also provides antibodies to the baby which in turn, help the baby build up a defense against bacteria and viruses.

In my opinion, breastfeeding in public is right. It is good for the mother and the baby. Society needs to not accept nude photos of celebrities and accept the fact that mothers can feed their children whenever or wherever they need too.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…
