Here we go!

If you are the one breaking up with someone, you feel like that bug that gets stepped on at the end of the day. You literally have to purposely break someones heart to make yourself happy. That is some evil stuff. Would you rather be stuck in a relationship with someone you do not like? Or be free?

When we talk about relationships, they are a hard working, effort inducing, stress filled, because you are taking on somebody else's life. So if you are doing that with a person you do not like, then it is not going to be enjoyable. Really it does not help both parties involved.

Yes the “truth is like poetry, and most people hate poetry,” (anonymous). That means that you have to really try your best to break their heart as easily as you possibly can, but lets face it, no break up is easy.

So if you are stuck in this mess, do yourself, and the other person a favor, and just tell them the truth. As ugly as it sounds, soon you will be free.

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.
