For every emotion that breaks free with heartbreak.

The Ultimate Breakup Playlist
Otisele

I have been through a number of breakups in my time on this earth and I have always found that what always helps me through is good music. Music has a way to say what I didn't even think I was thinking in a way that sounds like I wrote it myself. When going through a breakup it's important to have this because often times you're not sure how to feel about it. There's the feeling of extreme loss and sadness towards the situation. There's the feeling of anger towards the person who let you down, or betrayed you, or whatever the situation may be. There are even the feelings of hopefulness towards your future and goodwill toward this person you've shared part of your life and soul with. I've attempted to make a playlist that covers all the emotions one can possibly feel in a breakup that I hope can help others, like me, who don't know where to turn when their world turns upside down.

Click here to listen to entire playlist.

Slow Dancing in a Burning Room -John Mayer

So What - P!nk

Not in that way - Sam Smith

Merry Happy - Kate Nash

Breakeven - The Script (I suggest the Colbie Caillat version)

Before He Cheats - Carrie Underwood

There's a Fine, Fine Line - Avenue Q

F*ck You - Lily Allen

Someone New - BANKS

Not Over You - Gavin DeGraw

I'm Still Hurting - The Last Five Years

Waiting - Alice Boman

Send My Love(To Your New Lover) - Adele

I can't make you love me - Bon Iver

Shout Out to My Ex - Little Mix

You could be Happy - Snow Patrol

I hope there is a song on here that describes whatever you are feeling. I attempted to touch on every possible emotion. If you want more material I suggest looking into the music of Adele, Taylor Swift, Amy Winehouse, and P!nk. I hope I have helped with any broken hearts out there.
