Have you ever noticed that characters in movies often run out the door with a piece of toast when there's a perfectly good plethora of delicious breakfast food waiting for them on their table? Do you think about how you would love to have a perfect buffet of pancakes, eggs, and bacon in waiting on your own table every morning? Does this actually make you frustrated and angry that they don't appreciate how much effort that took? You may be a breakfast person.

Everybody knows breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Here's why it's also the best.

1. It's perfectly acceptable to eat only sweet foods at breakfast.

Waffles, pancakes, donuts, French toast, muffins. All sweet, sweet alternative words for dessert. At no other meal is it considered totally OK to eat just dessert.

2. Sometimes it's the only good reason to get out of bed every morning.

What other meal is so good that we're willing to lose sleep for it? If you have no other reason, stop hitting snooze and get out of bed for breakfast.

3. Bacon. Delicious, sizzling bacon.

I'm making myself hungry just thinking about it.

4. It's the only meal that always tastes good with orange juice.

Have you ever had orange juice for dinner? It's just not the same.

5. It's the only meal that's supposed to be good for losing weight.

It's the one of the only times people will tell you that you should eat when you tell them you're on a diet. Eating to lose weight? Sounds good to me. Of course, that may mean cutting out the bacon and pancakes and choosing a healthier alternative like fruit or yogurt. Still sweet, still dessert.

6. It helps you wake up.

Aside from the actual "getting out of bed" thing, breakfast can actually boost your energy levels, even if you're not a coffee drinker. Just having something to eat in the morning boosts your metabolism and gives you energy to get to work.

7. Breakfast is the only meal that gets infinitely better when you have it at the wrong time of day.

Three words: breakfast for dinner.

8. Maple syrup.

Enough said. Thanks, Canada.

9. Breakfast in bed.

The only time you can eat in bed and not be considered kind of a slob.

10. It's acceptable to eat whipped cream for breakfast.

(With other things, of course.)

11. Leslie Knope endorses breakfast.

Waffles with whipped cream from JJ's Diner: every "Parks and Recreation" fan's dream.

12. And so does Ron Swanson.

We do understand, Ron. We're with you on this one.

13. Why would you even want anything else?

Leslie Knope's priorities in life are: waffles, friends, work. Or friends, waffles, work. Be like Leslie Knope.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
