Finals and Stress. Two words that just belong together. We are all out here struggling to try to complete our assignments on time and making sure that we put as much time and effort as we can into every assignment. If you're like me you're hoping that these last few grades can boost up your overall grade in all your classes and maybe ... just maybe save your GPA.

There's no time for rest. We will all sleep when finals are over and its official summer break.

RIght?

Wrong!

Because, most of us have plans for the summer whether it be an internship, a startup we are working on, or just traveling with friends, summer is no longer a time of rest and relaxation. Everything keeps moving at a fast pace and there is never any time to chill or relax. That's why I want to challenge you to take small breaks during this final season and do things that make you happy.

Eat lunch with some friends and talk about what going on in your lives.

Take an hour break to watch a movie you enjoy.

Go biking or play soccer (any exercise to get your blood pumping).

You can even read a book for fun if that's what you enjoy.

Many studies have shown that students ability to perform on tests is connected to their overall mood, so don't think of these breaks as taking away from your education. They might just help you do better this finals season.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
