The Brangelina Divorce

It was all going well until it wasn't

The Brangelina split has spread like wildfire all over the internet. Jolie filed for a divorce from Pitt citing irreconcilable differences. They originally separated on September 15, only two years after marrying in 2014. They have both made statements kindly asking the ever-present media to stay away from their six children during this difficult time and respect everyone's privacy. Angelina is requesting physical custody of their children and visitation rights for Brad. There are also rumors about substance abuse and anger issues fueling the split, and Angelina's entertainment attorney says she made the decision "for the health of the family". Divorce is definitely a trying obstacle for everyone involved, and this one is no different; maybe worse than usual due to the persistent press spreading rumors and refusing to back down.

The couple had a tumultuous start to their relationship. They costarred in the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2004 which sparked rumors of a relationship while Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston. Jennifer filed for a divorce from Brad in early 2005. Brad and Angelina denied infidelity, but Pitt admitted to falling in love during the making of the film. Pitt had only been married the one time, but Jolie had married and divorced twice before. After the Pitt and Aniston split, Brad became a legal parent to Angelina's two adopted children, Maddox and Zahara, and in 2006 she gave birth to their first biological child, Shiloh. They then adopted Pax from Vietnam in 2007, and had biological twins Knox and Vivienne in 2008. The two married in 2014 in a small, private ceremony at Chateau Miraval in the South of France.

Brangelina seemed to grow even stronger when Jolie went public about her health issues and decision to undergo a preventative double mastectomy. Pitt commented that his wife was his hero, and that period of time was "emotional and beautifully inspiring". When they were promoting their film By The Sea on the Today show they shared how the experience strengthened their bond with each other and their kids. Jolie wrote and directed the film about a couple in a troubled marriage, and she said that it did not reflect her and Pitt's relationship at all.

The pair's passion for philanthropy is commendable and has been admired for years by the whole world. They showed us what impact celebrities can do and made us wish that everyone did what they continue to do. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are still human beings who deal with the trials and tribulations of life. The best way to help their family cope with their situation is to stop spreading rumors and let them deal with their life.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
