Take $5 out of your paycheck every week (or cut out one Starbucks drink per week) and watch your money grow over time.

Look into some apps that will budget your money for you such as Mint, PocketGuard, Mvelopes, and Wally.
6. Sell Clothes To Make Money
Check out consignment shops near you to see how much money you can get back for those clothes sitting in the back of your closet - they might even do a trade-up for something else in their store!
7. Keep Track Of Discount Days
Some stores have certain days that items are cheaper (example: Goodwill), so keep track of what stores have sales on what days and plan accordingly.
8. Use Your College ID
A lot of stores take colleges ID's and apply a student discount. Even if it's just 15% off, that's 15% that you've saved.

Craigslist is a thing of the past. Now we're onto Facebook Marketplace, Poshmark, Mercari, ASOS Marketplace, and ThredUP.

There are some cases where online deals are better than in-store deals - sometimes there's even free shipping if you're willing to wait the shipping time.
11. Wait For Holidays
Black Friday and Cyber Monday are your new best friends when it comes to shopping name brand. Wait for those holidays, apply your coupons and free shipping, and you'll save more that you'd expect.
