Brace Yourselves: TGIT Is Back

Your favorite trio of shows is back and better than ever. On Thursday, September 24, "Scandal," "How to Get Away With Murder," and "Grey's Anatomy" return to ABC. Haven't watched them before? You can catch full past seasons of "Scandal" and "Grey's" on Netflix.

What's not to love? If you're a sucker for a strong female lead and endless entertainment, Shonda Rhimes has created three of the most captivating shows on television. Equally dynamic and shocking, you won't want to miss the fall premier. "Grey's" premieres at 8 p.m., followed by "Scandal" at 9 p.m., and "How To Get Away With Murder" finishes off the night at 10.

Need a recap? I don't blame you. Here's what happened on the season finale of all three:

"Grey's Anatomy"

Bye-bye McDreamy. Although Derek didn't die in the season finale, it sure felt like the end of a legacy. Although it was heartbreaking, the finale "You're My Home" took on a more positive light by playing up the romance aspect. Alex and Jo seem to be getting more and more serious. Catherine and Webber also tied the knot. Unfortunately, Jackson and April are a bit shaky since April got back from being in the military, and April wants to return for a few months. Jackson remarks that he doesn't think he can be there for her when she comes back. The episode ends with Amelia, Meredith, and Maggie (who just found out her parents are getting divorced) dancing together at Webber and Catherine's wedding. Although they may be broken, they are still a family (a dramatic one, but hey, it makes for great television).

"Scandal"

The B613 trial ends with a bus full of the grand jurors, dead. David Rosen stops the trial by looking at Jake and saying “Everyone who was in that courtroom is dead now, except for me and you. While I live for justice, I don’t want to die for it.” Olivia, tired of losing to her father, takes a turn and goes to her mother. She decides to go to the CIA and tell them about B613 and her father, and the CIA (of course) pretends to not know anything about it. Olivia and Jake are then arrested for revealing this information (cue Olivia Pope looking amazing in a prison outfit). David Rosen (after being threatened by Cyrus who says he will kill Abby) then visits Olivia and Jake in jail and gets them to sign an affidavit swearing that they will withdrawal their testimony against B613. Oh, and Maya Pope is getting out of prison. The gang then realizes that although they can't take down Rowan, they can take down the regular citizen Eli Pope, who gets thrown in jail for $2 billion on embezzlement charges. We also find out that Huck was the one who murdered the grand jurors (via a typical Quinn confrontation). Mellie also easily wins the Virginia Senate seat. Fitz then kicks her and fires Cyrus in one foul swoop out after finding out everything they did against him.The show ends with Fitz going over to Olivia's apartment only to find her not there. When he gets back to the White House, a special someone is waiting for him. Do I see Vermont in their future? Only time will tell.

"How To Get Away With Murder"

The two-hour season finale was all over the place. First off, Wes and Laurel visit the psych ward to see Rudy, who utters "wet" (hint: water tank and Rebecca). Wes and Laurel then go back and search through the stolen files from Annalise's office, only to find out that Rebecca was spotted near the sorority house on the night of Lila's murder. Annalise then comes over to Wes's apartment to the four of them in her house, and Rebecca bound and gagged in the bathroom. Wes then tells Annalise that her husband may have been innocent, and then she decides to move everyone over to her house (where there conveniently is a basement). Annalise decides Rebecca should be tried. After talking to her, Rebecca admits that she killed Lila, but quickly responds with “Or maybe Sam did. That’d be easier for you, right? So you could live with yourself for turning on your own husband. Who knows who did it?” Annalise then goes off on Wes. Wes goes back in to talk to Rebecca, who finally admits the truth. She was wet because she was hiding in the tank after she found Lila's body there. Since Rudy saw her, she drugged him up (he went insane) and then called the cops on him. Some more news also comes out about Nate, who has been sent to solitary confinement after Annalise has people set up to fight him (in an attempt to get him out of jail that goes horribly wrong). She asks him to trust her, which (as of right now), is hard to do because no one really knows what's going on.

Tune in on September 24 to ABC to see what's next in store!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
