Thank You, Angel

You are such a gift, and I appreciate you so much.

Thank You, Angel
Briget Sarah

My boyfriend, Sam, is one of the most important people in my life, and he is absolutely amazing. This is a "thank you" to him. For everything.

First off, thank you for being the sweetest guy in the world. You go out of your way to ALWAYS make me feel special. You will literally do anything and everything just to get a smile out of me when I've had a long day of work and just want to sleep.

You surprise me with little snacks when you come back to your room to make me happy because you know I always (!!!!) crave snacks. You say crazy, funny things and you're so goofy around me, just to make ME happy. You're an amazing guy that I am so lucky to call you mine.

Thank you for everything you do.

Thank you for making me feel appreciated when I tell my stories or even just talk about my work day. You listen and make me feel like what I have to say is important. You are the silliest, sweetest, funniest guy I know. You go out of your way to tag me on things on Facebook. Even if you don't love them, you still do it to cheer me up at work.

Your heart is the best part of you. You're kind, patient, and caring towards me and everything I love in life. Your heart is honestly the most amazing part about you, and I'm lucky enough to have that so close to me.

Thank you for your generosity in buying me things without even questioning it. You take care of me; you will always ask me what I want to eat before you make your final order at whatever drive-thru we're at. Whether it's snacks, meals, fine dining, or drinks, you make sure that I am taken care of, and I appreciate that so much.

One of the more important "thank you's"...

Thank you for teaching me more things about myself than anyone ever has before. I wasn't in the best place confidence-wise in the past, and you have changed the way I look at myself. ANY insecurity I had about myself disappeared within the first couple of months of knowing you.

You make me feel beautiful. Every. Single. Day.

There hasn't been a day that I've been with you where I haven't felt like a million bucks. I never doubt your love for me and whether you think I'm the most beautiful woman in the world. Thank you for showing me how to not only love the shit out of you but how to love the shit out of myself.

Any flaw I had, you adored that flaw and made me feel like I was beautiful. Your selflessness has shown over this past year or so, and I can't appreciate you more. Because of you, there's a smile on my face.

I've watched us grow so much since we first met. We've matured as a couple, and I thank you for that. We went through a rough couple of months and you did everything you could to make those months better. You did. We have trust built, and with that, we can do anything.

I can trust you with absolutely anything and can talk to you about A N Y T H I N G. To me, that's so important to have in a relationship.

You're my best friend.

I appreciate you with all of my heart, everything that you do. You deserve all of the happiness in the world and a 20-count nugget from McDonald's on the side.

I love you.

5 Things To Do That Are Better Than Writing A Paper

Don't waste your time trying to write that paper when there are so many more interesting things you could be doing.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?

I can barely remember back when I was the only child. Most would say it’s because it is extremely difficult to remember things as a toddler but I would say it's because I was bored until my sister came along. My mother always says how important the "sister bond" is and with every year that passes I realize how right she is. Instead of writing a novel about all of the wonderful things there are about having a sister I decided to list a few of them instead.

It is the time of our lives that we are beginning to enter the adult world and most of us, if not all of us, have no idea what we are doing. It's like starting a video game, but skipping the tutorial. We're all just running around aimlessly hoping we accidentally do something right that moves us along the right path. Now that graduation has just happened, or is right around the corner for some of us, it's time to start thinking about how we are going to take care of ourselves once we are on our own.
