Out of the Box Crafts for Your Future Little

It’s already time to start thinking about what you’ll be crafting for the new apple of your eye: your Little. If you’re like me, you already have a spot in your heart for them just waiting to be filled. That being said, you would want them to have the best possible big little reveal. Thinking outside of the box to take the ordinary to a new level will make all the difference.

Tile Mosaic Picture Frame for All the Future Adventures.

A picture frame is a must-have in any reveal basket. This project is time consuming but the result is a beautiful, handmade frame that is completely personalized.

You’ll need a plain frame that is preferably flat, mosaic tile glue, grout in any color you’d like, and of course tiles. You can purchase pre-cut tile or make your own by smashing anything ceramic. Your first step is to place the tiles one-by-one and tightly together with a dab of the tile glue. You can create designs using the different colors or textures of tile. I recommend letting the tiled frame sit to dry for at least a day to make sure everything is completely dry before you start grouting. After your grout is prepared, completely cover the tiles with a thin (or non-existent) layer over the tiles and a thick layer between. The end product should not have dried grout over the tiles but a damp washcloth or paper towel will get everything off.

‘Emergency’ Kit to Make It Through the First Year.

The first year, whether it be at WSU or the first year in the sorority, is always hard. You don’t have as much time as you once did and you’re a million miles away from your hometown. You can go full out and get a big plastic container, or you can try a smaller version with a pencil container. Good things to include are airplane sized deodorant and perfume along with chapstick and makeup. Don’t forget to include the morning-after-a-hard-night-out cures such as Advil, Pepto-Bismol, and whatever other goodies you can get your hands on. Tape inside some encouraging notes or an explanation of the contents of the kit.

Braided Bracelets to Show Off How Cute You Two Are.

This can be kind of confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll be making them in no time. You can make these cute and colorful bracelets to match each other, or just for your future little, either way it’s a fun craft. You can use beads or chains to make your bracelets different. If you’re a beginner, watch this video for an easy tutorial. If you can handle a bit of challenge, check this video out.

Quick and Easy Wall Planner for Sorority Events.

Out of all crafts, this has to be the least time consuming. All you need is a seven-frame picture frame, scrapbook paper that fits in the frames, and dry erase markers. You can easily get scrapbooking letters and add the days of the week. Simply put the paper into the frames and you have a seven-day calendar that will fit on any dorm wall. This is perfect for those who are a little OCD about their events, or even those who need a little help planning their week.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
