Dear Brother, I'm So Grateful For Our Incredible Bond

You annoy me, but I love you more than anything!

My brother and I
Taylor Davenport

You are the most annoying human being on the planet. Somehow I get over it, just because you are my brother and I love you.

You are protective and skeptical of almost everything I do. Not sure why because you are not a dad but okay. Then again I know you are trying to watch over me. I roll my eyes when you tell me what to do and I'll tell you to do it but sometimes we compromise.

Our bond is something no one will understand because we have our own language for everything. We understand each other's ways of doing things. We know when something is not right with the each other and how to help. Even if it means just not talking for a while or pouring our souls into a conversation.

Listen, bro, you know I'm here for you anytime you need me but I do wish you wouldn't start practicing instruments in the middle of the night. I know you have to practice but do it during the day.

Also, listen to me please when I say I want you to succeed. It is because I mean it. You are my brother and I want you to do better than me. Even we annoy each other and I want to bash your head into a wall. I want to see you succeed in life.

You have so much potential in life I don't want anyone to undermine you in anything. Because I'm crazy and I won't be afraid to punch a person in them or get into a fight for you.

Bro, I love you and want you to know no matter how annoying we are to each other I will always be here for you. You are my bro, I got you if you got me.

Love,

You most amazing and awesome sister

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
