Now that Christmas is officially over, it is easy for the winter blues to set in because the buzz has settled, and now everything is just...boring. It is hard to kick the boredom rut post-holiday season, so I've compiled a list of my favorite boredom busters to get you through.

1. Bake something

Be old fashioned! Check out a cookbook, find a fun recipe, run to the store to get ingredients, and bake away. This is super fun and you'll get a yummy treat out of it too!

2. Get creative

This is easily my go-to when I'm bored. I love getting to be creative whether it be by painting, doing a craft or a DIY, scrapbooking, drawing, etc.

3. Head outside

Take a walk, go for a run or on a hike. Just do something to get the blood flowing.

4. Play a game

Board games and card games can be so much fun for hours on end.

5. Have a movie night

Complete this night with popcorn, candy, and blankets galore!

6. Explore somewhere you've never been

7. Start a new book series

By starting a series, you'll have something to read for a while, and it will keep the boredom away in the future.

8. Journal

There are so many fun ways to journal! You can write, draw, or a combination. It's a good way to get your brain on paper.

9. Browse YouTube

This will take hours. Trust me. Here are some of my favorite channels.

10. Adult Coloring books

These seriously can be so fun and relaxing

11. Learn a new skill!

Take up knitting, crocheting, or something you've always wanted to learn! There's no time like the present.

The dynamics of any friend group are usually determined by the personalities which make it up. No matter how functionally dysfunctional your friend group may be, if you're anything like me, you feel absolutely blessed to have found such a wonderful group of humans to call "your people." Here is what your friend group might look like if they were Disney princesses (and that wasn't just a thing you all pretended in your heads):

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.
