I'm an 17-year-old Indian American teenage girl that absolutely loves K-Pop. Ever since I was introduced to then BTS Army my freshmen year (just in time too as my ex-favorite band, One Direction, had just disbanded), my knowledge of the Korean language and culture only exploded. I fell in love with so many different groups and learned about how different the music industry was there.

I get weird looks whenever I talk about the releases of new albums or the debut of a new group. But the biggest question I'm asked is, "How can you like the music when you don't even understand what they're saying?"
My answer: "Who says I don't?"
After watching so many Korean dramas and listening to so much music, I've actually picked up a little bit of Korean. Not enough to speak fluently of course. The thing is, I fell in love with K-Pop before I even was able to understand what the singers were singing. That made me realize that K-Pop, like all music, is pretty lit to listen to, even if you don't understand what they're saying. The passion the singers have and the rockin' music in the background is enough to get anyone jammin'. Here are 101, in no particular order, of my most favorite upbeat K-Pop songs that'll get you screaming, dancing and make you feel like you're the ruler of the universe.
