Life can be hectic sometimes, and it can be hard to find time to indulge. As a college student, summer is the only time I really get to read for fun, and that's sad because when I was in high school I would read for fun everyday. I basically lived in my school library. During the school year I'm always busy with class, homework, and hanging out with friends. When I do have spare time I tend to watch a lot of Netflix because I don't have the attention span to read for fun. It's important to make time to read because there's many benefits like stress reduction, knowledge, memory improvement, vocabulary expansion, better writing skills, better focus and concentration, and stronger analytical thinking. The mental stimulation of reading can slow an maybe even prevent alzheimer's and dementia.
