I recently have become a bit obsessed with reading. I love how the pages can take you somewhere new and explore a different time, place, or space. This spring, I made it my goal to read as much as possible and put my phone away.

Here are 11 books to add to your list this spring:

1. "The Great Gatsby" — F. Scott Fitzgerald.

A classic novel set in the 1920s.

2. "Harry Potter" — J. K. Rowling.

Any of the books will suffice. Just go buy all of them... right now.

3. "The Power of Kindness" — Piero Ferrucci.

This book explores how kindness can be utilized to make for a more fulfilled life.

4. "You Are a Badass" — Jen Sincero.

This self-help book changed my life. It takes a humorous, deep approach to living a better life.

5. "It Is Not Yet Dark" — Simon Fitzmaurice.

This is a memoir from a man suffering from ASL and his struggles through his own day-to-day activities.

6. "The Geography of Bliss" — Eric Weiner.

This book explores how happiness is perceived and practiced in different countries. One of my favorite and top recommendations.

7. "I Wrote This For You" — Ian S. Thomas.

This is a series of poems and original photography.

8. "Call Me By Your Name" — André Aciman.

A summer romance set in Italy. P.S. go see the movie as well because it is beautiful.

9. "Tales of a Female Nomad" — Rita Golden Gelman.

The journey of a woman and her travels around the world.

10. "Letter on Life" — Ulrich Baer.

A series of essays on topics such as death, life, and happiness.

11. "Milk and Honey" — Rupi Kaur.

A seriers of poems that explore topics of love and loss.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
