21 Books I Want My Daughter To Read

My mom would read each one of these books to me at bed time when I was little and I hope to pass these down to my daughter.

These books are a memory to me that I will never forget. I remember my sister and I would be in the bed, and we would pick out a story for her to read to us every night. Having mom read to me made me feel loved and important. I felt like she was always there for me when I needed her just by doing this. I want my daughter to feel the same way of a carefree and protected space that I had as well.

1. The Rainbow Fish

This book is about a shiny fish who doesn't share his bright scales to other fishies. He learns by not sharing things nobody wants to be around him. Learning the consequences he eventually shares and sees how happy he feels.

2. Stellaluna

This book is about a baby bat who falls into a birds nest. She learns that she is different from her brothers and sisters. Soon realizing, Stellaluna may be discrete but finds ways that help family and friends.

This is a sweet book about a baby bunny thats momma tells him how much she truly loves him. So warming to a kids heart.

This happens to be my favorite above all I don't know why, just is. A adorable little kitten learns about a full moon when drinking milk.

If you love monkeys highly suggests this book! Very wonderful and bright story about a little monkey who gets curious all the time.

A sweet little teddy bear trying to find the right gift for his owner ends up being lost in the sky.

Another good one that is heart warming, just the words being told in this story is appealing.

A Dr. Seuss book is just always fantastic. This book however is interesting how he finds green eggs and ham good.
