Airbnb, or Air Bed & Breakfast, (for those of you who don't already know) is an online company that allows people to rent apartments, houses, cottages, or rooms in homes with or without hosts while traveling.

Whether you are traveling across the country or an hour down the road, Airbnb offers a vast amount of places, events, and experiences to choose from, and sign up for during your visit!

Recently, my boyfriend of four years and I took our first trip together for our anniversary to Montreal, Canada. Since he and I are both from New Jersey and didn't know a single thing about what there is to do in that area, we turned to Airbnb for some guidance… and I am so glad we did!

1. Who doesn't love high quality places for exceptionally reasonable prices?

While planning my first trip, I was super cautious of the places we looked at online because I did not want to spend over $100 a night for a weekend trip. Thankfully with Airbnb, that is not the case! With prices ranging from $30-$60 a night, I found multiple apartments and homes to stay in that were beautiful on the inside and outside, and fit appropriately with my price range. Not only was I extremely pleased with the home I selected, but my wallet was too!

2. You can filter a perfect place to stay depending on exactly what you want!

Need specific amenities in the home you want to stay in? Airbnb already has that covered. As you are searching for the perfect place on your getaway, you can personally select exactly what you want! Free parking, Wi-Fi, more than one bathroom, ideal neighborhoods, you name it. You even have the ability to see photos online of the homes you choose from to make sure this place is the best fit for you and your family or friends!

3. It’s all about the location!

I already said you get to choose exactly what you want, right? If you want to stay in a specific area because of what you have planned to do or see, you can easily find Airbnb's that could potentially be in walking distance to what you want to be near!

4. You have endless options of events and experiences to sign up for.

Not only does Airbnb set you up with housing, but it also allows you to sign up for special activities for you and your family or friends to enjoy together! Between entertainment, sports or art related activities, classes, and tours, Airbnb offers it all! Find something that interests you before going on your trip, read some very helpful online reviews, and get to planning! These experiences are a great way to make lifelong vacation memories and are inexpensive as well!

5. So you have all these activities planned, but when does food come into play here...

Need a recommendation for dinner? don't even sweat it. Just scroll through the hundreds of options Airbnb sets up for you already as soon as you book your trip. The list of restaurants for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and of course bars and nightlife are never-ending.

Thanks to Airbnb, you can plan absolutely anything and everything in one sitting for your trip! If you are a traveling addict and looking for somewhere cool to explore next, Airbnb will definitely become your next best friend!

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.
