It's safe to say that recruitment is kind of a big deal. It can be overwhelming, at times, and exhausting, but in the end it's possibly one of the most exciting experiences of college, one that will unite you with a group of sisters that feels like family and a sorority that feels like home.

Not only is being open minded important when going through recruitment, it's also helpful to do your research ahead of time about the values and ideals unique to each sorority. You might be attracted to a sorority for one reason, such as social life, but might connect more strongly with the philanthropy or mission of another.
