Sometimes life isn't how you plan it to be. The prayers that you send up may not be what God has in store for you. When it feels like your train has become derailed and curveballs are being thrown at you at 100 mph, life can flip a switch and send blessings your way.

Life is full of crazy jokes. Everything can be going alright, then out of nowhere, it seems like you have lost control. Relationships, school, work, bills, basically anything can go from good to bad to worse in no time. Those are the times that you should pray and give it all the God right? He can take care of it - just pray about your troubles and he will provide in some way. Well, recently I have realized that God doesn't have to answer your prayers how you wish he would. He will answer them in a way that will benefit you the most.

If you need a toxic person out of your life, God will not vanish them off the face of the earth (unfortunately). Instead, you will be faced with an obstacle that requires you to make that decision yourself. It may not be how you would want it but in the end it is what you need. Making these types of decisions are not easy, and you have to be strong to make them. God can put you in a situation where you just need to walk away and never look back. That is exactly what happened to me. After praying every night and asking God to help me get away from this toxic person he did exactly that. There was a heated conversation between myself and the toxic person, and all of a sudden its like something clicked in my brain. I no longer wanted to be involved with that person, the desire I had for them was gone, and I felt free from their grasp. God had helped me walk away in a way I could have never imagined.

I am a typical broke college student. I have bills and rent due every month and a job through the university that doesn't provide me with much to get by. Luckily, I can get help from my parents if I need to, but others aren't that lucky. Relying on my parents is not what I had intended, but I am not financially stable enough to go without their help. I prayed for God to look out for me, to make sure that I don't fall behind and get myself in a messy situation. Once again, he prevailed. My job through the university wanted me to work more hours, and more hours means more money. Then I got a random call from my apartment complex asking me if I wanted to have a second job there, and the money I earn there will be taken off my rent. I could not believe that I had gotten a second job in a matter of seconds. It was like they knew I needed it.

God works in mysterious ways. That's a given. Sometimes we are just too wrapped up in ourselves and what we want to realize the blessings right in front of you. Things will work out in the end, but until then just continue to pray. God is looking out for you.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
