Whether you watched the show during its time or you’re binge watching it now on Netflix, you can definitely agree that the Gossip Girl cast has one of the best wardrobes in television show history. One of the most fashionably iconic fictional characters, Blair Waldorf, inspired the style of millions of the show’s viewers while strutting through New York’s Upper East Side. The fashion world is forever growing and changing, however, Blair was always up to date on the latest trends and styles. Since the show began in 2007 and ended 2012, it had me thinking...what would Miss Waldorf (or should I say Mrs. Bass) be wearing today? Here is what our favorite Queen B and “girl of extremes”, as described by creator Cecily von Ziegesar, would be wearing in 2017…

1.

This look is from the Alice and Olivia Spring 2017 ready to wear collection. Blair is notorious for her bubbly pops of color. This emerald green color specifically reminds me of her bright green cape coat seen in Season 2 of the show. This is a look is perfect for shopping fifth avenue or going on a scheming adventure.

2.

This ensemble is from the Elie Saab Spring 2017 couture show. This would be a more upscale, dress outfit for Blair; appropriate for one of her elite soirees or evening get togethers. The best part about this look is...it has one of her signature headbands! Headbands are Blair's go-to accessory and it's not common that you'd see her without one.

3.

I like this design from Valentino's Spring 2017 ready to wear collection because it can easily be worn as a day look and transformed into a chic evening gown when paired with the right accessories, makeup design, and hair style. Blair has a very classic and feminine style which makes this dress a perfect match!

4.

Now, we very RARELY see Blair in anything other than a dress and she definitely wouldn't be caught dead in jeans. These dress pants, however, are a definite exception. This look was presented in Rachel Zoe's Fall 2017 ready to wear show. Blair could sport this look around the office of Waldorf Designs or at any professional meeting.

5.

Mixed patterns are B's specialty! Pairing a floral dress with a polka dot scarf is definitely a fashion choice bold enough for our favorite character. This outfit was showcased by Kate Spade in the Spring 2017 ready to wear collection.

6.

Manhattan's elite crew is always invited to the fanciest, high end, and upscale parties and galas. Blair's 2017 closet wouldn't be complete without a few designer gowns. This gown is from Marchesa's Spring 2017 ready to wear collection. I love this look for Blair because it's classic and shows a little skin. Blair isn't exactly a prude but she is more conservative than her BFF, Serena van der Woodsen. This gown is certainly a happy medium...Love it!

Which of these looks is your favorite? What other collections could you see Blair wearing alongside her charming hubby, Chuck Bass? Until next time... xoxo Gossip Girl

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
