The list of movies that have had their release dates postponed due to coronavirus (COVID 19) is only getting bigger and bigger.
So far, however, Disney and Marvel's upcoming release of "Black Widow" has stuck to its May 1, 2020 release date. Which makes sense. If there is any kind of release that would be able to bring people out even under these circumstances, it would be a Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie.
But as more and more information comes out, and the government becomes more and more involved in mandatory shutdowns, it seems like it's only a matter of time before "Black Widow" is postponed as well.
Considering the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is recommending all events of 50 or more people be postponed or canceled for the next 8 weeks, it would be absolutely shocking if Disney did not postpone "Black Widow" to later this summer or even give it a Christmas release.
Because right now, Coronavirus postponements are a lot like Thanos — they're inevitable.
