"Black Panther" has taken the world by storm. From the music by Kendrick Lamar to the cast being mainly African American, this film has brought up issues that are faced by many people in the world today. While this film has had a significance of its own, it is also going to impact future Marvel projects, especially "Infinity War." Here's why "Black Panther" is one of the most important films that has been released by Marvel since Disney gained ownership in 2009.
Let's start in reverse
Back when T'Challa was first introduced into Disney's Marvel Universe, his father passed away at a UN meeting from a bomb exploding. That was back in Marvel's "Captain America: Civil War" which divided the Avengers into Team Captain America and Team Iron Man. This division was caused by Captain America's best friend in war Bucky Barnes.
Bucky was experimented on during World War II and became an assassin known as the Winter Soldier. Steve Rogers still sees the good in Bucky and wants to help Bucky get back to normal. At the end of the film, he trusts T'Challa to not only restore Bucky back to his full health but to get him back to being Bucky Barnes. Since T'Challa has advanced technology there were signs in the post credit scenes from both "Civil War" and "Black Panther."
Heading to the "Black Panther" Credit Scenes and "Infinity War"
There are many signs that Wakanda is going to play a major role in Infinity War. The armies that are involved in the ads seem to feature many soldiers from Wakanda. Plus adding the idea that they are open to talking about their advanced weapons the battle can strike anywhere.
A lot of the scenes seem to be featured in Africa so it looks like the "Black Panther" and his army are going to play a pivotal part throughout the movie every Marvel fan has waited for.
