Well, it’s February and you know what that means…it’s officially Black History Month! Yes, Black History Month is still a big deal for me even as an adult. It’s a time of learning, a time of reflection and a time to think about how far an entire race of people have come. But recently, there’s been a lot of shade thrown toward Black History Month. People have been questioning the meaning behind it asking what it’s supposed to do, if it’s even still relevant, and, my all-time favorite, why isn’t there a white history month? Well, don’t worry I’m going to address all those questions in what will be the first of a series of videos I'm making for Black History Month.
