Black Friday is the most extravagant shopping trip for most people the day after Thanksgiving. People spend all night waiting for stores to open and fighting other customers for the most coveted piece of merchandise. On this day, everyone works to get all of their holiday shopping done in preparation for Christmas: the happiest time of year for everyone— except retail workers.

1. The attitude you have the day before.

2. Your face when you see the line of people waiting for the store to open.

3. When you see the table of perfectly folded merchandise now laying in a pile on the floor.

4. That one customer that wants your help when there is a line of people waiting to be checked out.

5. When you see another employee leave to go home in the middle of the chaos.

6. When you're working the register and the line keeps getting longer and longer.

7. That one seasonal employee that thinks they know the ropes of retail afterwards.

8. When its finally time to lock the doors and close up.

9. How you feel after working 12 hours straight.

10. Your final thoughts after reflecting back on the day.
