Black Friday Makes People Look Crazy.

Thanksgiving is where every body gets together and gives thanks for the things they have. Then afterwards, they go fight over things that they don't have. The reasons being that Black Friday makes people look very silly are: One, you have two grown women fighting over children's toys, as well as teenage delinquency going on. Two, the sales aren't even real. Lastly, it's not even about material things. Thanksgiving night should be about family.

In 2011, police had to pepper spray a crowd at a Walmart superstore, in Nevada a shopper was shot at their local Target over a television, and again in 2011, an 11 year old was trampled in a Walmart superstore in Ohio! Now, why on earth would people trample an 11 year old? Oh yeah, something called 'sales' and 'crazy' people. When you see these things happen, what goes on through your head? I think that who ever is going to shoot someone for a TV, is someone ridiculous anyway. How is that one item more valuable than children's lives—or anyone's life for that mater? Where have our morals gone? Why has no one yet questioned our humanity? Wait.... They have!

Want to know something important? The sales aren't even good! I think it's pretty obvious, but some don't understand how bad these stores are cheating all of us on Black Friday. The secret is behind the scenes of business and consumer psychologists. They're the brains that are hired at most businesses that end up being even more successful as they already were. Business and consumer psychologists have released the truth. YOU CAN FIND THESE DEALS ALL YEAR ROUND! Yes, you read that correctly. But not only are these deals all year round, but the stores think they're clever. What a store will normally do is, around Halloween they jack certain prices up slowly without most consumers realizing it. Then all a sudden, Black Friday arrives! Which means they lower the prices once again basically one or two dollars less than what they were originally priced for. You're welcome America.

Besides the hype and deals, what about family? Family is the most important thing you have, so why waste Thanksgiving night fighting with others over ridiculous items? Personally, I have never been black Friday shopping, nor would I ever desire on going. But I do have those crazy family members that leave Thanksgiving dinner early, to go shopping at Walmart. What's so important there that you have to walk out on your grandparents/parents dinner, to go argue and chase deals that will be there the next morning!? Thanksgiving is a time of where you celebrate the little things as well as some big things that you are and should be grateful to have. Why not put the Christmas tree up instead of shopping?

If you are a regular black Friday shopper, I CHALLENGE YOU to stay home this time, spend time with your family, enjoy the food and even get dessert. If you get bored, just shop online if you have to. Family matters, especially during the Holidays.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
