Black Friday can be an exciting time of the year where you can get all the things you've wanted (as well as some things that you didn't even know you needed) for an extremely reduced price for one night only. If you aren't one to partake in Black Friday, you see all the news articles the next day on all the people injured during the dark night as well as the people who take Black Friday to the next level. Here are my past Black Friday experiences summarized by SpongeBob gifs:
Black Friday shopping doesn't start until you finish all your Thanksgiving dinner.
There's no getting away from that gross green bean casserole that somehow ends up at the dinner table every Thanksgiving. #gross
The entire night you can't help thinking about all the things you're going to get.
Oh, the possibilities! Your mind is officially off Thanksgiving and has already switched into Christmas mode.
Excitement and energy fuels you as you make your way to your favorite store.
Get your game face on, it's going to be a long night.
After stopping for coffee you finally make it to the store, only to find the line to the store wrapped around the block.
This is the time to contemplate whether this store is really worth waiting in the back of the line for. How badly do you really want that new limited edition game?
After contemplating, you are determined to get that new game and nobody is going to get in your way.
With determination surging through you, you make your way to the front of the line.
When the doors finally open and you have to run to keep from being trampled by the crowd.
Every man for himself. #run
You finally make your way to the back of the store to discover that the thing you wanted was all sold out.
This is when you start spending money on all the things you don't need. You're already at the store so why not get something?
When you realize that you're out of money.
Was that new bedazzled selfie stick really worth it?
After a disappointing shopping experience you head home and call it a night.
You wake up in the morning with no recollection on how you got home or what happened.
It's the worst when your family tries to talk to you next morning.
They want to know how your night went and everything you bought. You're just not having any of it, you just want to go back to sleep. #canyounot
When you go back to school and people compliment you on your Black Friday finds.
You aren't even sure why you bought most of the stuff you did and try to find a use for it.
Or maybe you weren't able to partake in Black Friday because you were working.
You saw the worst and the best of people. You also might be sad because you weren't able to enjoy Thanksgiving as long as you would have liked but hey, you made some extra cash that you can use for Cyber Monday.
