Why Your Bitmoji Is A Better You

The newest trend, Bitmojis, are in full swing. Bitmojis are your own personal avatar created by you, for you. With a quick download of the Bitmoji app, you will have the ability to live vicariously through your Bitmoji. You will never have to leave your house again, your Bitmoji will be able to say and do everything you have ever wanted to do yourself.

This is a picture of me in Vegas at a Casino. It didn't even matter that I was under the age of 18 years old, broke and missing transportation. With the new Bitmoji app, none of those obstacles were able to stop me from playing a little poker on the weekend. Best of all the entire time my poker face was on point. Heck, I didn't even blink once!

Did you know that because of Bitmojis, it is possible to now work out in heels, a crop top and a pencil skirt? Here is a picture of me at the gym lifting wights while running on a treadmill. Although you can see that I am profusely sweating, I do not have armpit stains, my hair is still perfectly pin-straight and does not even have a trace of frizz, while my smokey eye is still on fleek. I ran six miles today, and I am feeling better than ever. Clearly I'm "workin' it."

Here I am eating salad. I sent this picture to my friends to show them that I eat good and look great while doing it. I am even giving a thumbs up while holding my fork... that was one tasty salad!

Broke college student? You bet your biscuits Bitmoji can fix that, too! Heck, just look at me throwing money around. Bitmoji made all this possible. Do you know why I have so much money? Because the Bitmoji app is free and cost me nothing, the only thing I had to buy was my $1,000 iPhone to install it on.

Although I haven't left my house in a couple years because I rely solely on my Bitmoji to live my life for me, I am proud to say that I made it in the newspaper. Not only did I make it in the newspaper but I made it on the cover of "Good News," the hottest paper around. What I love most about this is that they got a picture of me in my favorite outfit that I only wear every once in a while, on special occasions. What are the odds?!

Sometimes I forget my own strength. This is me throwing a football straight into the ground while scoring a touchdown. Luckily, my outfit did not get one spot of mud on it! I sent this picture of myself to my friends today to show them how excited I am to see them and to play ball with them this summer.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

1. People assume you are mad all of the time.

2. Ten out of ten times you will give off an intimidating impression to others.

3. People do not acknowledge your feelings because you "do not have any."

4. Constantly being exhausted from trying to smile and not look like a witch.

5. And on the rare occasion your facial expressions show how happy you are, your friends think you are going crazy.

6. Each of your friends has said "I thought you were so mean when I first met you" at some point.

7. Then they follow that by saying "you are just hard to read."

8. So naturally if people do not know you they just assume you are a snob.

9. And when you are actually mad, your facial expressions are horrifying.

10. In the end you always look like you are judging people, when in reality people are ALWAYS judging you.
