Binge Worthy Shows To Watch On Netflix

Are you in need of a new show to binge watch on Netflix? I am always seeing posts on Facebook and Twitter about people not knowing what show to watch next on Netflix. While we're all avoiding responsibilities and things that we probably should be doing, here's some shows to get hooked on:

(Note: These are my personal favorites)

1. Friends

If you're into comedy, this is the show to turn to. Friends debuted in 1994 and ended in 2004. There are 10 seasons of Friends, and it gets better and better as the years go by. I have watched all 10 seasons of Friends multiple times and still laugh my butt off at each episode! It's the ultimate feel-good show to give you a good laugh and hit you right in the feels. (Not to mention, Jennifer Aniston in the 90's! HOT!)

2. Grey's Anatomy

Grey's Anatomy has been around since 2005, and is still going strong. Grey's is currently on their thirteenth season, and still extremely popular. The setting is in Seattle and begins with Meredith Grey, the daughter of the famous surgeon Ellis Grey, beginning her internship to become a surgeon at Seattle Grace Hospital. It's obviously a hospital show, you will think that you're a certified surgeon after watching a couple of seasons. Totally addicting.

3. The Ranch

The Ranch is a new original series that Netflix released earlier this year, and viewers have been patiently awaiting Part 2 to be released (thankfully it was released on October 7th!). Ashton Kutcher stars as a former semi-pro football player who returns home to help run the family business. With Ashton Kutcher involved, you know it's going to be funny. The trials and tribulations that this family goes through when he returns home is not only heartwarming, but hilarious!

4. NCIS

If you're into crime shows, NCIS is the show to watch. NCIS stands for Naval Criminal Investigative Service and follows Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs and his journey through the Marines that led him to become the leader of his own criminal investigative team. NCIS began in 2003 and is currently in its 14th season.

5. Young and Hungry

If you remember Emily Osment on Hannah Montana, this is definitely not the same girl. Young and Hungry focuses on Gabi, an aspiring chef who gets hired by a wealthy tech entrepreneur Josh as a personal chef. Their relationship becomes much more than just work-related, and it's hilarious to go on the rollercoaster ride with Josh and Gabi! Ashley Tisdale, one of the stars of High School Musical, is the producer of the show!

6. Last Man Standing

If you're a fan of Tim Allen, this is the perfect show for you. Mark Baxter is a man's man, however, the last man standing in a house of four women! Tim Allen's sarcastic humor is bound to make you giggle!

7. The Vampire Diaries

The Vampire Diaries is based in Mystic Falls, where two very handsome brothers (who happen to be vampires) meet Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) and she changes their lives forever. This is the perfect romance show, similar to Twilight. Are you Team Damon, or Team Stefan? I promise you that halfway through the show, you'll change teams.

8. Reign

Reign just so happens to be my latest favorite show. If you're into kings and queens from hundreds of years ago, Reign will hook you! Mary, Queen of Scotland is the main character in the show. She was arranged as a child to marry Prince Francis of France, to unite their countries. When she finally grows of age to marry Francis, there are many obstacles in her way. With Queen Elizabeth fighting to take over Scotland and France on top of ruling England, Mary has her work cut out for her to protect her country.

These are just a few of my favorite shows to binge watch on Netflix! I encourage you to watch a few episodes and see how you like it, if you get hooked.. I cant say I didn't warn you!

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Advice To Live By As Told By Bob's Burgers

The Belchers hold the key to a better life.

Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
