Now that it is the holiday season and many of us are on break from school and our busy schedules, it's important that we take the opportunity to have 'me time', to help you out, I'm going to suggest a few binge-worthy shows (and good movies) to watch out on Netflix.
1) CSI: NY
I think we all know what happens on CSI; I will add that I started watching this on a whim one day and completely fell in LOVE. The great thing about it is the show is 9 seasons long so it will keep you occupied for awhile. I mean, have you seen Hill Harper? How could you not watch it?!
2) Quantico
This suspense filled drama shows the lives of students going through government training. The catch is that each student has hidden reasons for enlisting and it's important to figure out who had the ulterior motives and was responsible for a massive terrorist attack that had taken place.
3) Stranger Things
Set around three boys and their missing friend, this supernatural thriller set in the 80's is definitely going to have you glued to your screen.
4) Luke Cage
The first Black superhero to have a solo series in the Marvel realm, Luke Cage is truly for the culture. Full of adventure, drama, and violence, it runs together smoothly and I 10/10 recommend adding it to your list.
5) Jessica Jones
Though I was initially apprehensive, Jessica Jones is a great show for those of us who into all things superhero/graphic novel. Jessica, the main character has special abilities. Though she wants to help others, due to experiencing a traumatic event, she suffers from PTSD and has rather unconventional ways of helping people. Be sure to watch Daredevil first, then Luke Cage, then Jessica Jones because they somewhat build on each other (I have not yet finished watching Daredevil but I'm sure it's equally as good as Luke Cage and Jessica Jones).
