You're bored and not so sure what to watch in your spare time. You see a series in the trending section, or sometimes you see one in the series section alone. So if you're bored and looking for something to watch in your spare time, here are a couple ideas for good shows to start binge watching.

1. "Greys Anatomy"

This show is something most people probably have already seen. I know you might think is a chick flick and stupid, but trust me it is 100 percent worth your time.

2. "New Girl"

Are you looking for something that makes you laugh but also makes you think, "Why would someone do that?" This is definitely the show for you.

3. "Stranger Things"

Now this one might be a little confusing, but if you're looking for a mystery/scary/entertaining series, this is the show for you. This is one of those shows that you have to pay attention to the whole time.

4. "Shameless"

This show is definitely not for everyone. If you don't like nudity or swearing, this is not for you, but if you're looking for a random show, this is the show for you. It is odd but entertaining in such a good way.

5. "Game of Thrones"

When I first thought about watching "Game of Thrones," I wasn't so sure about it. Again, if you do not like nudity or blood, this is not the show for you. But if you're looking for action along with romance and adrenaline, this is the way to go.

6. "Dexter"

In all honestly, this is not a show for everyone. Dexter is a man of many talents, but also many faults. This show makes your mind wonder. Dexter is a show for someone who enjoys a little mystery with also a little nonsense. This show is 100% worth binge watching. Yes, his voice is a bit monotone but you got to get past that.

7. "Scandal"

This show is one of my favorites to watch. I wonder if maybe this is what it is really like out there. Like, do people in the White House actually do the things that are seen in this show? I bet you're wondering what I am talking about, and you're going to have to watch to find out.

All the shows I talked about above are not for everyone, but, if you're sitting there and wonder what you should binge watch, here are some ideas to help you out! Don't just skip over them when you see them on Netflix or Hulu. They are so worth your time, give them a shot!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
