Fall break is coming faster than we expected. Okay that is lie, personally, I have been counting down the days until I get finally get away from my books. Since we have been good students I think it’s time for us to rest and binge watch Netflix for 4 days straight. I know you are all lazy that is why I have made the sacrifice to look into some of the best Netflix original TV shows worth binge watching. I want to assume that you all have heard about Stranger Things because it is just the best show on Netflix right now. And if you are like me you watched the entire season in less than 48H and now you are lost. You don’t really know what to watch anymore. That is why I made the selection of 5 Netflix Original shows that you can watch while sipping hot chocolate in your bed. And if you haven’t watched it yet you should definitely give it a chance. Now discover my top 5 Netflix Originals series, there is something for everybody so sit back relax and pick a new series to binge watch.

1. Jessica Jones

Jessica Jones is a fictional superheroine appearing in American comic books published by Marvel. She is a private investigator with, obviously, super powers. If you like pretty women kicking butt I am certain that you are going to like Jessica Jones. We need more female heroines! Jessica demonstrates just how women can be strong. She is not your typical girl portrayed in TV because she has an alcohol problem and she accumulates one night stand adventures. Jessica has a big heart and does not hesitate to help others. The subjects of rape and abuse are mentioned throughout the first season.

2. Luke Cage:

Luke was Jessica Jones’ love interest but luckily for us he has his own show now! He is literally an unbreakable ex-con who is fighting to clear his name and save his neighborhood. He is quiet but super powerful; he is a bulletproof man. Nothing can hurt him. Wanna bet? Luke is the ultimate super hero, every machine that touches his skin will be destroyed in an instant because he is the man of steel. Every super hero has their weaknesses but we have yet to find Luke’s. Is he invincible? If you wanna know you can tune in on Netflix and watch the entire first season now.

3. Narcos:

Narcos tells us the true story of the rise and fall of the infamous Colombian drug dealer Pablo Escobar and the Medellin drug cartel. The series tells the life of Escobar and how he started his drug business. It is worth watching because it is exciting and you get to educate yourself as well. You get to see how one man was running the street both in and out of prison (yup it does not only happen in the movies or TV shows). If you like action and gangster stories this show is definitely made for you! How does one man have the power to corrupt an entire city? Was he smart or evil?

4. F is for Family:

If you have finished watching all the seasons of Family Guy, The Simpsons, The Cleveland Show and American Dad and you are looking for a new American family to make you laugh, F is for Family is meant for you. The animated series is set in 1973 and is based on the creator of the show, Bill Burr's childhood experiences in Massachusetts. There is not a second when you are not going to laugh while watching this series. It is also interesting to see how people used to live in the ‘70s. In a sense this show is educational. If you are big kid who still like animated series, you will not be disappointed!

5. Sense8:

Ever wondered if telepathy was a thing? Well Sense 8 definitely will answer that question for you. In this emotionally dark series, a group of eight people around the world are suddenly linked to each other mentally. Throughout the first season they learned about each others existence and how they can help each other in their complicated life. Sense 8 is a great show but it has a slow start, you have to be patient and give it a chance because once you are past the first few episodes you will not stop watching this series.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
