Now, I am NOT saying that you should binge drink! I don't even drink myself, but I have witnessed my fellow students get extremely hungover. Binge drinking is extremely dangerous and should never be done. If you do find yourself accidentally hungover, you may need to spend the day recovering and watching Netflix! Thankfully, I got you covered!

Everyone knows the hits like "Riverdale," "13 Reasons Why," "Queer Eye," "To All The Boys I Loved Before," "The Kissing Booth," and more… but since you probably have watched them already, I won't mention them again! My suggestions are the more unique originals that people have not heard about yet! So sit back, drink your hangover smoothie, and enjoy!

The Adult Cartoon: "Big Mouth"

Big Mouth

I will be honest, "Big Mouth" is no "Rick and Morty," but it comes very close in insanity levels. "Big Mouth" follows four middle school students going through puberty and their personal struggles in school. Andrew is a nerdy kid with a hormone monster who struggles to get a girlfriend and has overprotective parents. Nick is a short kid who wants to go through puberty. Jessi is the only girl who just started her period, and her mothers are having an affair. Lastly is Jay who loves magic and got a pillow pregnant. Yes, that happened. It is an over the top, but easy to follow show! You will be easily entertained and won't have to think too hard to understand the show.

The Rom Com: "Alex Strangelove"

Alex Strangelove

Did you enjoy "Love, Simon"? Well, this is Love, Simon's younger goofy brother! "Alex Strangelove" is about a high schooler who is a virgin. He truly loves his girlfriend but is not physically attracted to her because deep down, he knows he is gay. During the movie, he meets a gay college freshman named Elliot. The two fall for each other and Alex thinks he may be bisexual. This is a good hangover film because it is funny, silly, laughable, yet there are a few moments that pull on your heartstrings. Plus, you spend the whole movie wondering if Alex will lose his v-card.

The Sitcom: "Grace & Frankie"

Grace and Frankie

Have you ever been cheated on? Well, it happened to "Grace and Frankie," but worse! Both of their husbands announced that they were divorcing their wives in order to marry each other! But the show is so much for than that! While this show may seem unrelatable because they are in their 60s, it surprisingly reminds me our my own life. A show about betrayal is actually fun, entertaining, light-hearted, and you love the whole main cast! Frankie's ex-husband Sol and Grace's ex-husband Robert may seem like they are villains, but you love them! It is a good laugh for when your head is pounding! It is very easy to watch and you will end up loving it like I do!

The Anime: "Seven Deadly Sins"

Seven Deadly Sins

This show is a lot to explain. The Seven Deadly Sins is a group of deadly and powerful Holy Knights who are wanted criminals for betraying the kingdom. You learn that they did not betray the kingdom and are actually misunderstood heroes. Each of the seven Holy Knights represent a sin. The main character is Meliodas, a young looking (but extremely old) kid who is Wrath. He owns a traveling bar and has a sidekick pig named Hawk. Meliodas is discovered by a Princess who is trying to get the seven Holy Knights back together in order to save the fallen kingdom again. This show is also easy to follow, but is intense and wonderful to watch! The action will help you stay interested when you wanna fall back asleep!

The Teen Drama: "Degrassi: Next Class"

Degrassi

Sometimes when you are hungover in college, it reminds you of your high school days! Technically, this is not a Netflix original, but Netflix owns "Degrassi" now! "Degrassi" is about a group of high school students who are struggling with different issues. Over the years, the issues have become more modern and intense. Yet, the show is still enjoyable and realistic. "Degrassi" has been an amazing show for years! I loved the show since Drake has been a member of the cast. While it is not popular, you will always know a person who has seen the show. The seasons are now short, so you can watch "Degrassi: New Class" very quickly while you recover!

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Kourtney Kardashian

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
