1. Black Mirror
If you haven't started this series yet you are truly missing out on great cinematography and intensely unique story lines that will thrill and shock you.I recommend beginning with episode two, episode one of the first season is a little difficult to stomach. The series emphasizes the issues that can arise in a high tech dystopia.
2. Chewing Gum
If you were raised Christian and remember your parent's awkward lectures on "urges" then you'll relate to Tracey. She's an average girl with an intensely Christian mother. All Tracey wants is a nice boyfriend who'll make her feel sexy and wanted (God forbid.) Who will win: The power of Jesus Christ or Tracey's Hormones? Watch the first season on Netflix now!
3. iZombie
Ok, so the premise for this show is, well, it's really stupid, but hear me out. Super smart, super pretty, super normal girl on her way to finishing her residency goes to a party and becomes a zombie. But she's not your typical rampage and gore Zombie, she's sophisticated. Plus, she uses her ability to see the memories of the deceased to find their murders bringing them to justice. I know, very dumb, but the writers do a great job of pacing the show murder-mystery style and they keep the science believable. So, if you're obsessed with Zombies or can't resist a murder-mystery then check this out.
4. Spartacus
Yes, I am aware that this show is pretty old. But what better way to recover your brain from finals than with completely meaningless gore, lots of steamy scenes, and ridiculously gorgeous people all crammed into a show about the most epic slave rebellion of all time! You know you watch on it on Netflix!
5. Mad Men
If you have not seen this show you are missing out a key insight into current and past political American culture. Also the drama on this show will have you in shock. There is never a dull moment in this imaginary rendition of the office that shaped advertising forever.
