A few weeks ago, I wrote an article on Billy Gilman when he announced he was going to be on NBC's The Voice. I was ecstatic then and I'm even more ecstatic now, as he is.... GOING TO THE LIVES BABY.

I've never doubted this mans ability to sing. I've been a die hard fan since I was 5 years old. I grew up listening to his childhood music and I own all of his CDs. This being said and seeing how excited I was for The Voice, you can imagine how I was at his recent concert. There was even a slight wardrobe malfunction during the show and he joked with the entire audience about it.

!!!!!!!!! I basically hyperventilated and couldn't speak. This is something I've dreamed of happening since I first saw him in concert at 6 years old. Some singers don't sound the same live as they do on a recorded song and I'm pleased to announce this wasn't the case when I was 6 and it wasn't the case now at 21. Before I ever talked to him, I thought he was an amazing individual. After talking to him, that opinion hasn't changed. He was so genuine and kind to all of us. He even remembered my first article and I'm sure most celebrities would not remember something like that. They also don't do free meet and greets after the show either. Let me tell you what, they guy smells wonderful (courtesy of the 3 hugs I received).

I'm reaching out to all of you Voice fans to ask, please please please vote for this amazing man when the lives begin. He deserves to see his dreams come true again but singing the music he has always wanted to sing. There is not a doubt in my mind that he could win this thing.

I'm so glad I have stuck by his side for 16 years. I've watched him grow and accept himself in a way some people aren't able to do.

I can't wait to watch you do amazing things with your music from this point forward. Hopefully it results in a Voice win, but I know you'll do amazing even if it doesn't result in a win. I'll not so patiently wait for a new album, while downloading The Voice songs as they release on iTunes. Love you always BG.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
