Simple Simon

You've seen him as a clown! Now, check out Bill Skarsgård as a man with Aspergers Syndrome that is having some trouble adjusting to some major changes in his life. Skarsgård stars in this Swedish movie as Simon who's pretty close to his brother Sam. But when Simon unintentionally breaks up Sam with his girlfriend, Simon takes it upon himself to get his brother a new girlfriend. The movie is hilarious, heartbreaking and proves Bill Skarsgård as an actor that can embody any character he's given. It's Simple Simon that helped him on his path to Hollywood.

Atomic Blonde

The German guy that gets sh*t done is what you would describe Bill Skarsgård's character. But even in a limited role, the actor left a lasting impact on the viewers. The Swedish actor played a German character so well that you would be actually surprised to know his ethnicity.

Allegiant

In Allegiant, one of the Divergent movies, we see Bill Skarsgård play the role of Matthew. He works at the Bureau of Genetic Welfare and is a mysterious researcher. Although not given much screentime, Skarsgård captivates the audience with his character.

Behind Blue Skies

Bill Skarsgård plays a teenager who ends up having an affair with the manager of a hotel he's working for. The manager is much older and is played by critically acclaimed Swedish actor Peter Dalle. It's definitely worth a watch as it has a very unique message.

IT

Even though critics and fans didn't love the movie as a whole, the majority of them applauded Bill Skarsgård's performance as Pennywise the Dancing Clown. His dark demeanor and insidious viciousness as Pennywise was so natural that it was terrifying to watch. The movie really took a lot of effort on Skarsgård's part but it propelled his career in Hollywood.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
