Recently, I realized how easy it is to become complacent in your faith. Do you know what I'm talking about? When nothing really great is happening, but nothing really bad is happening either. At this time, it's easy to stop sowing and reaping the seeds of life. It's just easy to sit back and let the things of this world take our time. It's easy to get too comfortable with your faith.

He replied, "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 17:20

When we become stagnant in our faith, we forget that big things start out small. Take the mustard seed for example. A mustard seed is one of the smallest seeds, but when it is planted, watered and cared for properly with time and patience, it blossoms into a huge bountiful tree. We come across seeds that are planted in our lives that may seem just as insignificant and small as a mustard seed. But you can't just look at the seed to determine its product. You must first go through the process to get to its harvest. A small seed has the potential to become enormous, just like your small dream has the potential to become real.

The Lord says in Zechariah 4:10, "Do not despise these small beginnings." The seed that is being planted in your life resembles the harvest that is to come. Be careful not to overlook the small seeds. Just like these small seeds, your faithfulness will grow overtime in the right direction if cared for properly. The small seeds in your life may not make sense at first, but that is when your dreams are fragile and easily dismissed. Allow God to prepare and grow that small seed to its full potential until it is ready for harvest.

There will be times in your life when you go through a dark season where you see your dreams crumbling. During this time, quiet your heart and be still. Listen closely, and don't overlook the fact that this is when God is growing your seed that is about to blossom. From trials, you will learn how to handle the power of what's to come. Stand firm in your faith, and the Lord will anchor your soul to solid ground.

So what was the message of this article? Big dreams start small in God's hand, which is powered by His Spirit with time. Don't ignore the process of your faith by seeking the product. Don't stop sowing and reaping seeds. Stay awake in your faith so that you may experience God's abundance of grace.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
