The perfect birthday party theme: a fake wedding.

My friend was planning her birthday party and of course, she has to do the most outrageous things and decided to make her birthday party a wedding party. She was the bride, dressed in a long white dress, and alongside her stood her nine bridesmaids, dressed in long black dresses.

We began the weekend with her bachelorette party of course, because what better way to celebrate than an action packed girls night. We all dressed up and headed to dinner at a cool restaurant in Buckhead, then out clubbing. The bride wore a white dress and we got a private table to celebrate. Literally acting as if this was her last night as to party before she tied the knot.

Following the bachelorette party, we all woke up the next morning and began getting ready for the wedding. Rented a private room in the lobby of a nice apartment complex in Buckhead, and the bride was accompanied by her fake groom. She somehow found someone willing to stand next to her on her fake wedding day and act as though it was the best day of their lives. We even took wedding pictures of all the bridesmaids along the Atlanta skyline before heading to the wedding. Even her dad was there to give her away. Everyone showed up in their best black tie attire and danced the night away. We even set aside time for the fake couples first dance.

The whole night, her bright white dress was the center of attention and everyone was in shock that she pulled it off. People brought wedding gifts, which were actually birthday gifts, but were perfectly wrapped in white. She had a few bridezilla moments, but it was the fake wedding of the century. Something I’ll never forget. She had the perfect birthday and everyone celebrated #kimsbigfatfakewedding.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
