Meatballs! Get Your Meatballs here! Your favorite meatball has came out on top as the new HOH! In what was Big Brother Bizzaro World, this night went exactly like I had predicted earlier to day. The Halting Hex gets used and Josh wins HOH. The real winner though tonight is Paul because he just needed anyone except Jody or Mark to win HOH.
This strange night started with the continuation of the drama that ensued last night. Jessica is trying to get to the bottom of what Paul told her about Cody saying he wanted to keep Alex and Jason around to take out her and Raven. She confronts Matt about it and he does all but tell her thats what Cody said. She goes and asks Cody about it, cue another Jody fight. We then see Paul telling everyone about the "deal" he is going to make with Jessica so that she doesn't use the hex. Which all of them immediately agree to no problem.
The next thing we see is Raven, Jason, and Kevin talking about the Hex and Jessica views this as them talking crap about her. Her and Raven try to hash it out, but to no avail. At the Veto meeting, Paul uses it on Jason and Jessica and Cody pretty much mock the whole ceremony. Granted, Jason should have just kept it short and sweet when pleading with Paul to take him down. This would have kept Jessica at bay. Instead this combo of events, she has decided that she is going to use the hex. Paul tries to talk to her, but it does no good. He tells Josh to turn it up to 30 and I think you can put the rest together on how the rest of the pre eviction segment went.
What needs to get lost here is that Paul is just such a mastermind. When people confront him about things, he answers them with a question and they don't know what to say to him. He is so good at deflecting and turning it around on people. Then during the blow up in the back yard, he tells Cody that "all of his dogs are barking." This is so genius. By him saying this, it just makes Cody look like the bad guy and makes the house hate him anymore.
Listen, there has been a lot of stuff online about Jody being bullied all week, however they brought this on themselves. IF this was outside of the game, yeah it wouldn't be cool. This is the game though. Cody and Jessica have had every oppurtunity to get themselves out of this spot, but they continually alienate themselves and don't even try to make an effort to make allies. There is no social game or social aspect at all. When they aren't friendly to people, then don't expect people to be friendly to you. That's just common sense.
The rest of the episode is history. Time will only tell though if Josh's antics just get to be too much this week,
