Whether you are suffering right now, going through a rough time, or if even everything is fine we need a little reminder that God is always there for us. The Bible offers incredible words of encouragement when you need the most.

If you are feeling afraid:

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you." Isaiah 41:10

"Trust in the Lord with all your hear and lean not on your own understanding." Proverbs 3:5

When you need courage:

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." Deutreronomy 31: 6-8

"I can do all this through Him who gives me strength." Philippians 4:13


Feeling Sad:

" I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you." Isaiah 46:4

"When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken." Psalm 34:17-20

Reminder of God's Love:

"For God so loved the world that he gave is one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16

"I loved you at your darkest." Romans 5:8

"Never will I leave you, never will i forsake you." Hebrews 13:5

If you are feeling anxious:

"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petit

ion, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Philippians 4:6-7

"Anxiety in a man's hear sighs him down, but a good word makes him glad." Proverbs 12:25

"Cast all your anxiety on Him, because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7

Offerings of Hope:

"Love is patient, love is kind." 1 Corinthians 13:4

"God is the only one who can make the valley of trouble a door of hope." Hosea 2:15

When the World feels heavy:

"A man who endures trials is blessed, because when he passes the test he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him." James 1:12

"For I consider the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is going to be revealed to us." Romans 8:18

" The Lord will fight for you, you need only be still." Exodus 14:14

Trust in God:

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14:27

"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1

Always Remember:

"But Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:16
